Micro-budget experimental performance piece.  It was fantastic to have the freedom to just show anything, anytime, for any particular reason.  And it doesn't have to be the lead singer - in fact, why not just show the random German bumper sticker instead?  And the lightbulb.  You can never have too many lightbulbs.
