13 Months of Sunshine's international premiere in January 2008 was a smashing success with over 100 members of national and local media in attendance plus hundreds of other fans. It is currently the only Ethiopian movie in the city playing in theaters every day. The film's publicity continues to grow along with powerful word-of-mouth within closeknit Ethiopian community - witness a very positive review in The Ethiopian American and the cover story and multi-page spread in Helm Magazine, two national publications.
