The first film ever shot on the ultra-high-definition RED One camera to win a film festival.

"Stained" was produced for the 168 Film Festival in one week (168 hours), was nominated for 13 awards, and as of this writing has won 9:  Best Production Design - Joshua Weigel, Best Editing - Chris Witt, Best Sound Design - Brandon Griffith, Best Original Score - John Campbell, Best Dramatic Screenplay  - Joshua Weigel and Rebekah Weigel, Best Actress - Jenn Gotzon, 168 Audience Award, and Best Picture.  Also the first ever Award of Artistic Excellence from the Red Digital Cinema Company.

The project, as are all short films produced for the 168 Festival, is based on a randomly selected Bible verse - in our case, Galatians 3:28.  Set in the near future, a courageous woman resists a society that segregates its undesirables.
